THANKS TO AN EXCELLENT FLUSH we had been able to offer a number of does for sale this year. We have a few left though they may be spoken for. Sales are not final until the bill of sale is written so if you are interested in the last few does to be offered for this year, give us a quick call. Our does were amazing this year and had great daily weight gains. We will be expecting a new batch of babies starting the begining of febuary. If you miss out on the current girls, you may want to talk to us about a deposit on the next generation of the continuing Golden Boy legacy.

All of these babies were born in texas at a time when our does looked the worst they ever have because of the poor feed on our texas farm. they had little protein in the browse (3%), and we were not supplementing them very much ( we feed a 5 gallon bucket of cottonseed feed to 60 does once a day). The last month of their gestation we put out some feed tubs because we heard people were loosing babies all around us due to the dought conditions in the pastures. The girls did have some poor quality hay during the winter. We had poor birth weights compared to our usual and the babies were slow coming on. Even with all of this we had some of the biggest doelings we have ever had at weaning. These babies did not have creep feed and the moms were fed the same 5 gallon bucket of feed once a day. We did switch to a corn mix feed (that paul mixed up) when the babies were born.

SOLD   This doe is a Golden Boy, Carolyn daughter.  She was 48#s at 110 days with a 0.45#/day the last 30 days before weaning. She has also put on A LOT of weight and size in the last few months. She is a big doeling now and quite gorgeous.  she has become a  large, meaty doe, yet is still be feminine. She will follow in the Carolyn, Golden Boy tradition.   $1300

This doe is a year old now ( this picture was a few months ago). She is called CPK Santie Annie. Her mom is CPK Annie Oakly. she is in the process of being DNA to verify who her dad is. She should be 100% NZ. She was bred to Little Joe this last month. She is maybe for sale.

SOLD  The doe below is a reddish brown paint. she is tag purple  48. she had only a fair growth rate her first 90 days because mom did not adjust well to the texas feed when we moved here. thanks to the buck (CPK Virgil Earp) she has now  caught up to the other doelings. i don't have a current weight, but she is looking great. this picture was a couple of months ago.  $1200.

SOLD   This red and white paint doeling was 41# at 105 days. She has grown alot since weaning. though not as heavy as some of the others, both her mom and dad were slow growers.  we expect to see a lot of continued growth out of this doe.  she is out of First Angel, and by Hondo.  she should mature into an exceptional doe. she also has a lot of black pigment and should throw great color.  $1200.

SOLD   This paint doe below is CPK Charmagne James. She is out of W09 by TAY Joseph doe. Our records say she only weighed 40 # at 90 days, but she must have done a lot of growing. she is a nice BIG doe. Her embryo brother was CPK Slim Pickens. $1300
