Cowpony Ranch Gaited Horses
Cowpony Ranch has added a new line to their animals. We are going to be offering a few select gaited horses from time to time. These will be quiet, well mannered, experienced trail horses that we have hand picked to share with people in our area. We have found that in finding Bonnie a new horse it is extremely difficult to find a variety of good gaited horses from which to choose. These horses will be guarenteed sound, tested out on the trails, and at least started on natural horsemanship if they have not been previously exposed to it. They will have good ground manners, stand for you to get on them, back, know how to turn on the hind quarter and turn on the fore quarter, open gaits (or at least started on learing how), trailer, stand for a bath, cross water, cross bridges, etc.
Meet Adrian (below), 9 yo black, gaited mare, rides/drives, experienced trail horse, gentle and well broke, fairly forward when ridden and driven like a typical amish horse. 15 hands, stout, easy to handle.

Rocky (above) is a 9 yo, reg KNGHA gelding. he is a measured 15 hands and looks like he is part draft, kentucky horse with a really lovely, smooth gait. He rides and drives, is not spooky at all, crosses water, brigdes, goes down the road by himself or in a group. Bathes, trailers, is good with the farrier, easy keeper, gets along very well with other horses and animals ( sheep, goats, dogs). He loves to amble along and though quiet, he is not a kids horse or for a very beginning rider. Right now he is a beautiful chocolate color. over the next couple of weeks we will try to update his videos.
